SSC CHSL Tier-1 Result 2025-26 has been released on 27 February 2026 with 39,901 candidates shortlisted for Tier-2. If you are one of the qualified candidates, here is everything you need to know about what happens next.

How to Check SSC CHSL Tier-1 Result

Visit ssc.gov.in. Click on Results section. Download the CHSL 2025-26 Tier-1 result PDF for LDC/JSA or DEO posts (separate PDFs). Use Ctrl+F to search your roll number. If your number appears, you are qualified.

Category-wise Cut-off Marks (Tier-1)

Cutoffs vary by category. For LDC/JSA: General – approximately 142–155 marks, OBC – approximately 138–148 marks, SC – approximately 126–138 marks, ST – approximately 118–130 marks. For DEO posts, cutoffs are slightly higher. Check the official cut-off PDF released with the result.

SSC CHSL Tier-2 Exam – What to Expect

The Tier-2 exam is scheduled for March/April 2026 and is more comprehensive than Tier-1. It covers: Section 1 – Module I (Mathematical Abilities), Module II (Reasoning and General Intelligence). Section 2 – Module I (English Language & Comprehension), Module II (General Awareness). Section 3 – Module I (Computer Knowledge Test) – qualifying, Module II (Skill Test – qualifying for specific posts).

Posts Under CHSL and Their Roles

LDC/JSA: Clerical work in Central Government Ministries and Departments. Salary Rs.19,900+. DEO: Data Entry Operator in CGDA, CAG, Ministry of Finance. Salary Rs.25,500+. PA/SA: Postal/Sorting Assistants in Department of Posts, Intelligence Bureau. Salary Rs.25,500+.

Tier-2 Preparation Strategy

English Comprehension is the highest-scoring section in Tier-2. Focus on Reading Comprehension, Error Spotting, Cloze Test and Para Jumbles. Quantitative Ability in Tier-2 is slightly harder than Tier-1 – focus on Data Interpretation, Advanced Maths. Computer Knowledge Test (qualifying) – basic MS Office, Internet, Computer fundamentals.
