Project Assistant under Chief Minister's Research Grant (CMRG) Scheme

Bharathidasan University is offering temporary Project Assistant positions under the Chief Minister's Research Grant (CMRG) scheme at the Department of Biochemistry. This latest government jobs opportunity invites eligible candidates with M.Sc. qualification in Biochemistry or Life Science subjects to work on faculty-led research projects. The fellowship is Rs. 25,000/- per month (consolidated). Eligible candidates must have completed M.Sc. with minimum 55% marks (or 5.79 CGPA), with relaxation for SC/ST candidates (50% or 5.26 CGPA). Desired qualifications include experience in molecular docking, mammalian cell culture, animal handling, RT-PCR, and western blotting. Upper age limit is 28 years with 5-year relaxation for SC/ST candidates. The selection process involves shortlisting followed by offline interview. Selected candidates must enroll for regular Ph.D. program at Bharathidasan University.
