About This Notification
Western Railway has released Notification No. RRC/WR/04/2025 for 5349 Apprentice posts under the Apprentices Act 1961 across its various workshops and divisions in Mumbai zone. Trades include Fitter, Electrician, Welder, Turner, Machinist, Carpenter, Painter, COPA, and many others. Eligibility: Passed 10th class with minimum 50% marks in aggregate (Science and Mathematics compulsory) plus ITI Pass Certificate in the relevant trade from a recognized institution. Age Limit: 15-24 years as on 23.03.2026 (SC/ST +5 yrs, OBC +3 yrs, PwBD +10 yrs). Stipend: As per Apprentices Act norms (approx. Rs.6,000-9,000 per month depending on trade and year). Duration: 1 year. Selection: Merit list based on marks in 10th and ITI; no written examination. Application Fee: Nil. Apply Mode: Online at rrc-wr.com. Application window: 21.02.2026 to 23.03.2026.
