About This Notification
IIT Madras, through its Office of Industrial Consultancy and Sponsored Research (IC&SR), has released a recruitment notification (Advertisement No.: ICSR/PR/Advt. 69/2026 Dated: 27/04/2026) for the temporary post of Project Associate under the Department of Applied Mechanics and Biomedical Engineering. A minimum of 3 vacancies are available. Eligible candidates with B.E / B.Tech / M.Sc (Physics) / Master's degree in Science or Engineering or related subjects such as Mechatronics can apply online before 11-05-2026. The salary offered is rs. 25,000 to rs. 30,000 per month along with Nominal TA/DA for every school visit. The role involves delivering hands-on STEM sessions for Grade VIII-XII students in government schools in and around Chennai, training students in 3D design and printing, mentoring students in projects and exhibitions, and collaborating with the project team. The contract is initially for one year and is extendable based on performance. Candidates must apply online only through the official IIT Madras ICSR careers portal.
