How we source, verify, and correct the TNPSC current affairs, study material, and job notifications published on TNCareerHub.in. Last updated: 7 Aug 2026

Compiled by TNPSC subject-focused editors Every current affairs article, study note, and quiz on TNCareerHub.in is written or reviewed in-house against the sources described below before it is published.

Primary Sources We Use

Current affairs content is drawn from official government sources — Press Information Bureau (PIB) releases, ministry and department websites, RBI/government notifications, and official gazette publications. Job listings are sourced directly from official recruitment board notification PDFs (TNPSC, SSC, RRB, IBPS, and equivalent state/central boards) — never from unverified third-party job boards.

How We Verify Job Notifications

Before a job listing is published, we cross-check post count, eligibility, important dates, and application fee against the official notification PDF or the recruiting body's website. If a detail changes after publishing (extended last date, revised vacancy count), we update the listing and note the update on the page.

How We Fact-Check Current Affairs

Each current affairs article is written against at least one named primary source (visible on the article page as "Source"), with the date we verified the facts shown alongside it. We prioritize facts that are directly relevant to the TNPSC syllabus and avoid speculative or unconfirmed reporting.

How Corrections Are Handled

If we're notified of an inaccuracy — via the Contact page or a comment — we review it against the original source and correct the article as soon as it's confirmed. Articles that are substantively corrected after publishing show an "Updated" date, visible separately from the original publish date, on the article page.

Who Writes Our Content

Content is written and reviewed by our in-house editorial team, credited by name and role on every current affairs article and study note (see the "Written by" line on each page). Our editors focus specifically on the TNPSC Group 1/2/4 and VAO syllabus and related state exam patterns.

Independence Statement
