Qualification
Graduate in any discipline from any recognized University. The candidate must possess valid Mark-sheet or Degree Certificate that he or she is a graduate on the day he or she registers.
Age Limit
Minimum: 23 years, Maximum: 35 years (As on cut-off date 01.04.2026). A Candidate must have been born not earlier than 02.04.1991 and not later than 01.04.2003 (both dates inclusive). SC/ST: 5 years relaxation; OBC: 3 years relaxation; Persons affected by 1984 riots: 5 years; Ex-Servicemen: 5 years.
Pay Scale
rs. 64820-2340/1-67160-2680/10-93960. DA, HRA/Leased Accommodation (if applicable), CCA will be paid as per rules in force from time to time.

Experience Required
Minimum 5 years of post-qualification Experience as Commissioned Officer in the Indian Army (Captain)/Navy (Lieutenant)/Air Force (Flight Lieutenant). OR A Gazzetted Police Officer not below the rank of Deputy Superintendent of Police or Assistant Commandant of Paramilitary Forces (BSF/CRPF/ITBP/CISF/SSB etc.) with minimum 5 years of service.
Additional Info
Candidates who have been terminated or removed from service by a previous employer will not be considered eligible. Service Bond: 2 years; Bond amount equivalent to 3 months gross salary. CIBIL score minimum 650 required. Selected officers will be in specialist cadre.

About This Notification
Punjab and Sind Bank, a Government of India undertaking, has released a recruitment notification for the Lateral Recruitment of Specialist Officers - Security in MMGS II scale on a regular basis. This is a rare and excellent opportunity for Ex-Commissioned Officers from the Indian Army, Navy, and Air Force, and Gazetted Police Officers to build a stable banking career. A total of 27 vacancies have been announced across SC (4), ST (2), OBC (7), EWS (2), and UR (12) categories. Eligible candidates aged between 23 and 35 years as on 01.04.2026, holding a graduation degree and with a minimum of 5 years of experience as a Commissioned Officer or Gazetted Police Officer, can apply online from 15 April to 05 May 2026. The selection process includes a written test (English Language, General Awareness, Professional Knowledge), screening, and a personal interview. The pay scale is rs. 64820-2340/1-67160-2680/10-93960 with DA, HRA, CCA, and other perquisites. CIBIL score of 650 or above is mandatory at the time of joining.
