Qualification
Graduate degree in any discipline from any Institute/ College/ University recognized/ approved by Govt. bodies/ AICTE/ UGC. The result of the qualification must have been declared on or before 01.04.2026. The date of passing Graduation should not be more than 4 years (viz. date of Graduation Marksheet should not be prior to 01.04.2022) preceding to the cut-off date i.e. 01.04.2026.
Age Limit
Min. 20 years and Max. 28 years as on 01-April-2026. SC/ST: 5 years relaxation; OBC (Non-creamy layer): 3 years; PwBD (UR/EWS): 10 years; PwBD (OBC): 13 years; PwBD (SC/ST): 15 years.
Pay Scale
Rural/Semi-Urban: rs. 15,000/- per month; Urban: rs. 18,000/- per month; Metro: rs. 20,000/- per month

This is not an employment in the Bank. Duration of training: one year from the date of contract. Candidate should NOT have undergone Apprenticeship either in Union Bank of India or any other organization earlier. Candidates who had a job experience for a period of one year or more after completing the educational qualification shall NOT be eligible.

About This Notification
Union Bank of India has released the official notification inviting Online applications from Indian citizens for engagement as Apprentices under the Apprentice Act 1961, for a total of 1865 training seats across India. This is one of the most awaited latest government bank jobs for 2026. Eligible candidates with a Graduate degree in any discipline (passed on or before 01-04-2026 and not more than 4 years before the cut-off date) and age between 20 to 28 years (as on 01-04-2026) can apply online from 29-04-2026 to 19-05-2026. The selection process includes an Online Test covering General/Financial Awareness, General English, Quantitative and Reasoning Aptitude, Computer or Subject Knowledge, and Union Bank of India Products and Services, followed by a Proficiency Test in Local Language and Document Verification. The stipend for apprentices is rs. 15,000/- per month (Rural/Semi-Urban), rs. 18,000/- per month (Urban), and rs. 20,000/- per month (Metro). Duration of training is one year. The engagement of apprentices is not an employment in the Bank. Apply online through the official Union Bank of India website or the BFSI SSC portal before 19-05-2026.
